About Us

Sivertree Stables was founded in 1993, originally in the heart of Rivonia just down from the Guide Dog Society, and since 2003, we have been in Kyalami AH just off Maple Road. We are very proudly a competitive show jumping yard. We have a proud tradition of nurturing beginners on school ponies right through to having them ride their own ponies and horses in competitive events. We have a rich track record of developing top show jumpers and can claim many Championship and Victor Ludorum titles, as well as 2 riders that have achieved Protea colors while being part of the facility. We have a firm approach to horse husbandry and do not compromise on well-being with perpetual grass paddocks, strict exercise regimes, and top-class grooms, support staff, and qualified coaches.

We prepare our riders for shows and are always at the shows to walk courses and leave the riders ready for their classes. Silvertree Stables has taught past SA Champs riders in both show jumping and equitation and currently have riders competing at the highest levels, representing their Province and school. From our meticulously maintained facilities to our carefully selected lesson horses, every detail is crafted with the utmost care and attention to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of both horses and riders.
